Opening October 24, the Dallas-based eating disorder treatment facility expands access to care for patients and families
Eating Recovery Center, Dallas (ERC Dallas), a trusted provider of comprehensive treatment for eating disorders, announced today the expansion of its services to offer an inpatient program. This will allow ERC to provide the full continuum of specialized care needed to support patients in Texas and surrounding states.
Led by a team of multidisciplinary experts, ERC Dallas continues to offer best-in-class eating disorder treatment programs for adults, adolescents, and children, both male and female, at the Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program, and Intensive Outpatient Program levels. The new Inpatient treatment facility adds 24 beds to the Dallas-based facility, 12 for adults and 12 for children/adolescents.
“Through this additional level of treatment, ERC Dallas continues to help more patients and families by offering the same high quality of clinical care and core team of professionals,” said Dr. Stephanie Setliff, Medical Director of ERC Dallas. “We’ve recently made a lot of promising changes, as we expanded our PHP program this past summer, and added more than 20 staff members to our team. All of these changes continue to help ERC grow and better serve those suffering from eating disorders in the Dallas area.”
ERC, Dallas’s Inpatient Program opens on October 24th. ERC Dallas will celebrate the opening with an open house celebration on Thursday, November 10th from 5 – 8pm at 4716 Alliance Blvd., Suite 400. Dr. Craig Johnson, Eating Recovery Center Chief Science Officer & Director, Family Institute, will be the special guest presenting a one-hour Continuing Education Credit about “Predictors of Response to Treatment: Who Gets Better and Why?” from 5 – 6pm. Following the presentation, from 6 – 8pm there will be a reception to meet the staff and tours of the both the inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities.
With this expansion, ERC has completed the development of a vertically integrated health care network dedicated to offering world-class eating disorder treatment at all levels of care within Texas. In addition to Dallas, the network includes centers in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and The Woodlands.
